The refurbishment for this holiday home in Alghero aims to renovate the original layout due to its obsolescence in terms of alignement to today's regulation for holiday houses. Thus the house has been entirely re-designed, opening the kitchen on the living room and resizing the rooms in favor of a more practical and comfortable bathroom, with all the elements on the same side and a shower instead of the bathtub. Everything is focused on the functionality and usability of the spaces, in a place that communicates calm and rest. For such reason colors also have a relevant role and are calibrated so as not to impose themselves with their presence: the warm tones of the kitchen and the intensity of the blue tones in the bathroom areombined with the almost neutral floors, beige for the tiles and wild cherry for the bedrooms and the living room.
Il progetto per questa casa per le vacanze ad Alghero prevede la ristrutturazione di uno stato esistente non più allineato alle normative ora vigenti riguardo l'ospitalità di turisti. Con l'occasione si è proceduto a sistemare la casa interamente, aprendo la cucina sul soggiorno e ridimensionando le stanze a favore di un bagno più pratico e comodo, con tutti gli elementi sullo stesso lato e una doccia al posto della vasca.
Tutto è incentrato sulla funzionalità e la fruibilità degli spazi, in un luogo che comunichi calma e riposo, per questo motivo anche i colori hanno un ruolo rilevante e sono calibrati di modo da non imporsi con con la loro presenza. I toni caldi dei rivestimenti della cucina e l'intensità dei toni blu nel bagno sono accostati alle pavimentazioni quasi neutre, il beige del gres e il ciliegio per le camere e il soggiorno.
